‘Design an eye-catching patch competition’

Design an eyepatch and get the chance to win a gift voucher!

Amblyopia is the childhood onset of a reduction in vision from one or both eyes which may not be treatable with just glasses but can treated by wearing an eye patch if caught early enough. Sometimes called a 'Lazy Eye'.

Devon LOC and Improving Lives Plymouth are participating in NATIONAL EYE HEALTH WEEK 2021 (www.visionmatters.org.uk) by launching a campaign to create awareness of this condition and we invite you to design an eye patch, as these are commonly used to treat this condition.

We are looking for ‘EYE’ catching designs! The theme to design an eye patch is open to personal interpretation. The design selected will be used on posters to disseminate awareness of amblyopia.

The winners will receive a Gift voucher: £50 (1st prize), £25 (2nd prize) and £15 (3rd prize), PLUS! The winning design will be included in our amblyopia awareness poster!

For a chance to win, complete the form below and upload your image.

Alternatively you can send your design by post to: Devon Local Optical Committee, Deer Park Business Centre, Haldon Hill, Kennford, Exeter, Devon, EX6 7XX
